Tempe Shopping

If you are new to Tempe, you may be looking for where to shop for the latest in fashions and appeal, home decor, gifts, or computers and electronics. Here is an overview of some of your options to help you to get familiar with all of the wonderful retailers that Tempe has to offer.

Tempe is home to Arizona Mills, one of the state's largest shopping centers. Situated near the border and the town of Guadalupe, the mall offers most of the world's best brands to local residents. Whether it's a new tankless water heater or furnace, you can find almost anything for your new home in one of the large department or appliance stores in the area. Also in the area, nearer to the border, is a large IKEA store.

Be sure to spend some time exploring Tempe Marketplace to the north of Tempe Town Lake. It's a big, open air shopping area and features water, laser and music shows. If you are in need of new vanity cabinets or wall shelves for your new home, you will also find a number of hardware and box stores in the north-end.

Located to the west of Hayden Butte is Mill Avenue. It has some of the city's most popular shopping and entertainment. All kinds of shops can be found in the area, from nursery supply specialists to upscale fashion boutiques. The pedestrian experience and development in and around Tempe Town Lake has caused the area to become a retail hot-spot.

Alongside typical brands and retailers, Tempe has some amazing shops that are unique to the city. Be sure to also experience some the Mill Avenue area's great second hand shops. There, you will find a rare hardcore punk record, rare clothing items, unusual trinkets and jewelery. You will also find designer handbags and accessories sold throughout the area.

If you are interested in designer fashions, visit some of the shops on and around West Warner Street. There, you can find the latest designs, such as a Maggie Sottero bridal gown. If you are looking for antique or vintage pieces of jewelery, look into some of the smaller, uptown shops. For vintage furniture, visit some of the shops on the south-west side of town.

Tempe's dynamic and thriving residents are reflected in some of the amazing shopping available to you. With some research and exploration, you will quickly become familiar with each store store has to offer.
